KETUBAH
TITLE:
SEASONS ETERNAL
ABOUT THE DESIGN:
The natural world is fascinating and mysterious in its
wonder. Its annual cycle has no beginning and no end. It
is a miraculous, ever-changing circle; centerless, yet
with boundaries reaching far and wide.
I find trees particularly powerful metaphors for the individual and for the couple.
At times, we find strength reaching out and interacting with those near to us;
at other times, we find strength in our solitude. I tried to capture this in
this piece, depicting some trees huddled close together, and others more separated. |
ABOUT
THE ARTWORK:
The original artwork for this ketubah was created with gouache, colored pencil,
and black ink on Arches 140# watercolor paper. The Hebrew and English calligraphy
were hand-lettered by the artist.
This signed print was produced here in America on Neenah Environment Natural
White 80# Cover 100% recycled and acid-free, archival-quality paper.
